Key Verse: 1:8 This book is all about Jesus continuing His ministry in His followers. We see the Holy Spirit taking over where Jesus left off. As promised, Jesus sends the Holy Spirit to continue His work and witness. And the content of the witness is Jesus. The person of Jesus, His interaction with the world, and His power to change lives dominate what gets shared in this book. It doesn’t matter who is speaking or to whom, Jesus is the topic of discussion. His life, ministry, resurrection, and continued presence as witnessed by the presence of the Holy Spirit is the center of what they share again and again.
