We begin our adventure in a few days. So what can we expect? At the beginning of each book we will memorize a short phrase that summarizes the contents of the book. As an example, we will start with the Gospel of John, and the phrase for John is John the Gospel of Belief. Then, five days a week we will memorize four words, that’s just twenty words a week. We will also read five chapters a week from the Scriptures. That gives two days a week to catch up, and plenty of time to keep our phrases fresh in our mind.
Each day we will focus on a chapter. I will point out key verses in the text that help with understanding the chapter. And as I have been doing for the past four years, I will try to apply what we are reading to our lives. I will try to keep to less than 400 words. So with the reading and the memorization, we should be able to finish in about five minutes.
At the beginning of each book I will give a bit of background to help anchor the book in history.
