2Like a lily among thorns is my darling among the maidens.

Every woman wants to feel like she is special, and every man wants to feel like he has been chosen by a special woman. This chapter contains what could be some very erotic language, all hidden in earthy poetry. The casual reader would miss the subtle innuendoes. They are about desire, connection and bonding. Anticipation fills the air. When was the last time you made your spouse feel really special, like they are the only one for you? I think this is why porn is so devastating to a relationship. It removes the specialness. “If I were all he wanted, they when why is he looking at those women?” “Maybe I am not (…) enough,” and you fill in the blank, pretty, sexy, young, wrinkle-free, before kids, energetic, and the list could go on. Bonding and connection create the sense of uniqueness, but that uniqueness must be reinforced and nurtured. The words we speak and the actions we take send that message. The frequent glances of the eye toward another woman can deflate even the most desirable woman. They want the glances for themselves. They don’t want to share your desire with another woman. They want you to desire them.
