26So they took the bull given them and prepared it. Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “O Baal, answer us!” they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.
“O Greenback, answer us!” is the cry of our day. We as a culture trust our wealth to help in times of need. We go to the government and call out for rescue. But despite the billions spent, we are still in trouble. Maybe this is from the LORD!
