13King Solomon sent to Tyre and brought Huram,
Solomon was wise and he used his wisdom in constructing the Temple and his palace. He called in the brightest and most highly skilled people to work on the projects. Huram was just such a person. He was the best at bronze work. What I find encouraging is that when we all work in our areas of strength, the most gets accomplished, and the highest quality product gets produced. There are some activities I am doing in life that I know are outside my expertise. Unfortunately, I must continue to do them until someone else steps up and volunteers to do them. I look forward to the day when I can only work in my lane. I feel most comfortable doing that. But, my job often calls upon me to work beyond my expertise. How about you? Do you know your areas of expertise? Are you getting to spend some time doing those things, or are you always working outside your gifts and abilities? Are there areas you could be offering to the Church, but you are holding back? I want to encourage you to jump in and get involved. Find where God is moving and use your talents and abilities to serve others. You will find a fulfillment and energy you did not know exist. You will thrive.
