13Apr 2011 Judges 5:2

2“When the princes in Israel take the lead, when the people willingly offer themselves – praise the LORD!

The tent peg that saved the West! Well, maybe not the West, but the nation of Israel. A distant relative saved the day. There was a woman named Deborah who stepped up and became the leader of Israel. She knew how to lead well and did for many years. She knew it was important for the LORD to get the glory for victories, since it was He who fought and won battles. She told one of her generals to lead the army to a victory, but he would not step up and take the leadership. So the LORD gave the honor of victory to a distant relative of the Israelites, to a woman who lived in a tent. Are you willing to be a servant who lets the Master get all the glory?
