We need a particular place that we recognize as the place where we meet with the Lord. The Israelites had “the Tent of Meeting” that they set up when they needed to meet and take care of God’s business. I meet at my kitchen table every day. That is my place to hear the voice of the Lord. I read His Word and spend time reflecting on it. I think about my day and try to get my orientation correct. I need that time in the morning. Without it I feel disoriented through the day. Where is the place that you meet with the Lord and hear His voice? Where do you get guidance for the challenges ahead?
