2Jan 2011 Genesis 4:9

9 Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” “I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s keeper?”

We are our brother’s (and sister’s) keeper! That is one of the big points of Scripture. We do have a responsibility to each other. God has placed us in a world where we must relate to each other in a way that honors Him. That’s right. We are representatives of Him every time we come in contact with each other. That is really hard sometimes, with some people. Isn’t it! Or am I the only one who has problems with some people? I get along with most people, but there are a few people in the world that seem to get under my skin. How about you? Who gets under your skin? Your kids, your spouse, a neighbor, a co-worker. Chances are God wants to teach you something about yourself, about other people and about Himself. Are you willing to learn a lesson today?
