10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
God has a plan for our lives. There are positive things we are to accomplish, things that reflect His character. God is working in us. He is remaking us so that we can accomplish His will. He has had these good things planned out long before we ever were conceived. All these things are a reflection of His character and will. Too often we think life is about us. Even after we become a Christian, we think life is still about us, our will, our happiness, our comfort. But God has greater things for us to do, things that have eternal value, things that let people know that the Lord cares about them and wants a relationship with them. God is crafting us into something worthwhile. Think about it. He takes sinful rubbish and makes a vessel worthy of holding His Spirit. It is God’s responsibility to transform us, ours to allow Him to do His work. We are His project. Are you willing to let Him transform you into a usable vessel? Are you willing to let Him work on You?
