18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.
Here is something contrary to what is being preached by the world’s preachers, the media! The message they preach is one of valueless sexual encounters. “It’s just sex” is the mantra. Remember we are just animals in their eyes, advanced pond scum, devoid of any responsibility to anyone other than ourselves. We are an accident, not waiting to happen, but one that already did happen. If we violate the law of the land, we just buy a really good lawyer and prove the system is in violation of my individuality. We practice racism in our sexual practices by conveniently placing abortion clinics in the poorest neighborhoods. We in essence are saying, “We know you are less than human, that you have no control over your behavior, so we have provided a solution to your weakness.” We parade anorexic women in advertising, driving the unconscious ideal to a sicker and more unattainable shape. We then push this ‘Just Sex’ message by showing these shallow sexual acts taking place without any negative outcomes. There are almost never any pregnancies, despite no birth control measures. Not even STDs despite no ‘protection.’ The reality of broken hearts and spirits is never shown. The consequences of rape, exploitation and enslavement are ignored. The problem is, there is something different about sex than other sins. Sex is unique. It goes to the core of our being, physically and spiritually. There is a mutuality in human sexual relations that does not exist any other creature here on earth. The give and take, the mutual pleasure, and the intimacy that can be all reflect our nature as being made in the image of God. In human marital sexual intimacy we get a glimpse of the intimacy the God experiences within His being. We get to peer into a closeness that we will experience fully when we arrive in heaven after this short journey here. Are you experiencing this fullness or settling for cheap plastic imitation vapor?
