Romans 11:36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
Read those words carefully: from, through and to. Picture the direction of those words, out of, through the middle of, and into. It seems to me that the arrows are pointing in all directions at the same time. No matter from what angle you look at creation, Jesus is the central figure. Origin, sustainment, and consummation all center around Jesus.
So take careful note: your name is not at the center. Neither is mine for that matter. Ouch! That is a blow to the ego! I am not the center of the universe. My needs and wants are not the most important. Now that you know that, live it out in your dealings with people. Serve.
