6 It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.
With all the treatments for non-performance in the bedroom, we as Americans have gotten used to hearing about failure. In our sex-soaked culture, how is it possible that there could be failure in that area? Could it be that soaking a culture with what is supposed to be a sacred subject for married couples has created a rift in the energy matrix of sexuality? That is exactly what has happened. The misdirection of sexuality has caused it to fail. That is just what Israel did with the message of God. God intended that message to bring freedom to all humankind. The role of Israel was mouthpiece. They had failed in their mission, but the message still had the same force, the same power to accomplish the mission. Because of poor piloting skills by Israel’s leadership, the message ran aground and was taking on water. But Jesus rescued the message through his life and placed it back into the hearts of the people who would just trust Him. The power of God was again available through trusting, as it had always been from the beginning.
